ALPS MD-1000 AS-IS with original box, accessories, USB converter This auction is for one AS-IS ALPS MD-1000 unit with original box and accessories. The printer has residue from the metallic gold ink cartirdges. I don't have the tools and skills to give this printer a thorough cleaning so it is not of use to me. There are no continuous lines through the prints although there tends to be a few specks throughout - doesn't seem as dire as a bad print head but I don't know enough about these to be sure. The good news is it feeds paper and prints as expected without any errors. It came to me with a low band count of 1743 and has only been used since to print a dozen or so test prints. The printer comes with the original box and manual, parallel and power cable, ALPS parallel to USB converter with software. Great bundle if you can get it cleaned up - or a nice package for parts. Printer will be well-packed with print head stabilized.
